Smoothies

Increasingly popular these days with kids and adults alike are smoothies of every description. These amazing pick-you-ups are made by blending fresh fruits (you can use frozen, too) with a combination of fruit juice, yoghurt, milk, nuts, seeds and ice. The variety of drinks you can produce is endless. The best thing about smoothies, apart from their delicious taste of course, is that they are very easy to make and you can use whatever fruits are in season. Try just one fruit on its own, or mix with others, to create your own unique taste. All you need is a blender, a few choice ingredients and within seconds, you will have a satisfying, refreshing and healthy drink.

Keep your smoothies healthy. Use delicious fruits. Add key superfoods like flaxseed and spirulina power. Bolster your vitamin intake and get that extra fibre!
